Women’s Empowerment – Live the change, change lives!
WE HOPE Exhibition Vernissage!
The WE HOPE exhibition commenced with a mesmerizing solo performance by composer and pianist Akiko Inagawa, featuring works such as S. Barber’s „Adagio for Strings“, C. Debussy’s „Clair de Lune“, and „Daydream.“ Following the piano performance, the audience was treated to enchanting opera arias and songs, including F. Schubert’s „Gretchen am Spinnrad“, G. Puccini’s „Un bel dì vedremo“, „Tu mia terra“, and G. Bizet’s „L’amour est un oiseau rebelle“ (Habanera), performed by soprano Claudia Oddo and pianist Maciej Gabriel Wesolinski.
The musical segment, featuring iconic pieces like Habanera, seamlessly blended with a performance by artist Ivana Scavuzzo, symbolizing the resilience, transformation, and empowerment of women on their journey to strength and self-determination.
The exhibition will continue to display artworks by various artists until October 2, 2023, from 11 AM to 6 PM at the Ballhaus Düsseldorf.
